Good morning!

I guess this is the time to talk about Haven. Last Friday, April 20, 2012, I submitted the first five chapters of a manuscript for a novel with the working title Haven to the Writers Coffee Shop Publishing House. I have an official query number and everything! Am I excited? Um yeah. I’ve wanted this since I was 11, and we won’t discuss how old I am now. In the meantime, as I wait for word regarding whether or not my manuscript is accepted, I am working on finishing the rest of the story. And hoping and praying. I know the title will change eventually, because I’m not happy with Haven exactly, but it works for now.

I won’t discuss the plot here, but this story is deep in my heart, and I’m excited to share it. I’m loving writing it and getting to know my characters, watching them grow.

The initial submission was five chapters, so now, I am busily working on chapter six with about 1500 words written so far.
